The race carries on with the same rhythm, with high technical level. I would even say that the champion of the Sertões will be defined in this stage, as in the last one we took it easy.
The initial liaison is on asphalt, on good ground. After the refueling, the Special starts, near Coivaras (PI). It is also a complete special, with difficult navigation, Sandy ground, savannah and caatinga (scrub area) and crossing of rivers (that in theory are not supposed to have a lot of water).There are a few stretches of hills, curvy roads, more sandy, loose fine gravel and pastures. However, there is no predominance of a certain ground during the race: until this ninth stage, there is a great variety, which makes the competition technical and complete.
The final liaison is calm, with better roads until Sobral (CE).
