Vanderlei Cassol wins the second in a row with the marathon stage of Sertões International Rally

Vanderlei Cassol / Lelio Ram / Henrique Oliveira won the second special in a row at Sertões International Rally on Tuesday (17), day which established the end of the marathon stage in the competition. With the result in the special from São Felix do Tocantins (TO) and Balsas (MA), the trio comprises four first places at the event, the higher number of victories among trucks after seven stages.

To give even more shine to the victory in the marathon, which today had the route reduced to 210 km, Vanderlei completed the race with a time of 2h47min30, almost five minutes ahead of Andre Azevedo / Maykel Justo / Ronaldo Pinto (2h53), which once again took second place among the heavy weight.

Marcos Cassol / Rodrigo Mello / Davi Fonseca, who continues to manage the difference of more than one hour in accumulated finished the special in the third position with a time of 2h59. Felicio Bragante / Ricardo Costa / Nelson Corder (3h02min30) and Kenner Santos Garcia / Ronie Von Silva (3h14min33) complete the top five.
