Edu Piano’s Ford truck wins Sertões International Rally last stage, leaving the pilot closer to the title

For today special, only four heavy loads crossed the narrow and sinuous trail in the special. Since they had mechanical problems during the 8th stage, André Azevedo and Carlos Eduardo Ribeiro did not start today.

Firs ones to start, and with only one defeat during the whole competition, Edu Paino/ Solon Mendes/ Davi Fonseca were the fastest today, making 1h01min24s.

With only two minutes away, Amable Barrasa’s truck crossed the final checkpoint in 1h03min11s, followed by Guido Salvini and Ulysses Marinzeck, with 1h31min36s and 1h36min37s.

The competitors left Juazeiro do Norte (CE) towards Caicó (RN), last Sertões destination before Natal, where the final Super Prime is going to take place.
